QuinStar Technology are proud to announce their new Digitally Controlled Exciter. This device offers a turnkey solution for FMCW radar applications. Using one master clock, this exciter provides the coherency of frequency and timing in RF output, radar synchronizer clock, receiver data acquisition, sampling clock and trigger. The DDS based exciter exhibits high linearity and low phase noise characteristics meeting extreme accuracy requirement in generating agile programmable waveforms such as saw-tooth triangle and gated FMCW. The standard RF output frequency is 11.7 GHz with up to 1.2 GHz bandwidth. It is then multiplied into Ka band, V band and W band to generate desired millimetre wave frequencies. Quinstar also offers custom design millimetre wave radar front-end antennas.

QuinStar Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce a new Ka-band full band orthomode transducer.
This QOT series Orthomode transducer operates full Ka band waveguide band covering the 26.5 to 40 GHz range with less than 0.5 dB of insertion loss and great than 32 dB of isolation. Both V- and H- ports are WR-28 rectangular waveguides that makes it compact in size and convenient for system integration. The orthomode transducer is mainly used with antennas for EW system. It is also used in receiver and radar systems. The approximate size of a Ka band orthomode transducer is 1.13” x 1.13” x 2.50” Length .
